Additional Supervision & Care

We understand that pets require special medical attention or need to rehabilitate in a comfortable environment after a surgery. That’s why, at Pussycat Park in Dubbo, we provide special assistance for cats and other small animals that require additional supervision and care.

Our resident vet nurse, Dian, has been in the animal industry all her life. With 40+ years of experience dealing with domestic, wildlife and zoo animals, she is well-equipped to look after your pet’s specific needs.

Talk to our friendly team today on 0427 872 503 or book online. We provide short- and long-term stays to accommodate your schedule. Drop-offs during business hours are preferred; however, we offer a pick-up and drop-off service for an additional fee.

Special Assistance Reasons

There are numerous reasons why your pet may require special assistance. These include:

  • They require daily treatment/injections for diabetes
  • They require thyroid medication
  • They have arthritis & require daily medication
  • They’re stressed (we spend extra time with stressed cats to make sure they’re eating)
  • If fleas or worms are detected, owners will be called to advise, & treatment options will be provided
  • They’re unvaccinated & require isolation (we recommend that all cats are vaccinated, unless care is required beforehand)

Call us on 0427 872 503 to discuss your pet(s) unique needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • My cat is very shy and not used to other cats. Will they be okay?

We cater to the individual needs of each and every cat that stays with us. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond with the love and care we give your cat while at Pussycat Park.

Our suites are partially enclosed to not cause undue stress in the cats, and though communal play is allowed, it's certainly not mandatory.
